If you are approved for an American Express Business Card account, American Express does not report your account information to consumer credit bureaus as long as your account remains in good standing.
Ongoing Commercial Credit Reporting Follow-Up Disclosure (Small Business and Corporate)
Instructions: to be used reactively as a follow-up if the Customer asks about how Amex reports to commercial credit bureaus. Must be read verbatim and in full.

CORPORATE – Credit Impact Statement

- American Express may utilize your commercial credit report information during the Corporate application process. We may consider consumer credit report information in certain instances, but do not report any ongoing positive or negative consumer credit to reporting agencies.

This stance may change in the future, but this is the approach we are currently taking in the U.S.
Non-Rebuttal States (Arkansas, North Carolina, Idaho, Utah, South Carolina)
Instructions: If a customer’s business is in a non-rebuttal state and they indicate they aren’t interested, the call MUST be discontinued. In all other states, Amex policy allows for no more than 2 rebuttals before the call must be discontinued.

Permission to Continue (Oregon and Louisiana)
